Dr. Beth Sullivan, OTD, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist
Founder and owner of Promoting Independence in Older Adults, Dr. Beth Sullivan is a highly experienced occupational therapist with over 40 years of clinical, administrative, and academic expertise. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings from acute care to home health, specializing in treatment for people with age-related and neurologically acquired visual deficits, fall prevention, and facilitated clients’ engagement in desired occupations.As a clinical specialist, Dr. Sullivan provided treatment in age-related low vision and vision rehab programs in the Chicagoland area. Dr. Sullivan’s treatment approach is client-centered with interventions focused on the clients/families/caregivers’ desired outcomes.
